Submit Art for Review

Due to the number of submissions we receive, it has become necessary for us to hold one review per year. Each year, this review occurs in the autumn, when our curatorial team and exhibitions committee devote their time to reviewing the submissions. Responses will be made each December. Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer professional advice or feedback. If we are interested in your work, we will contact you for further information. All others will receive a standard response via email or letter.

 Art Portfolio  Review

The Museum of Northwest Art welcomes art portfolios for review.

All art portfolios submitted for consideration by MoNA must be received by August 31 each year for consideration by the following December.

Materials will be accepted electronically and by mail, and must include:

• Contact information (address, email, telephone)
• Artist’s web site (if available)
• Artist’s statement
• Résumé
• Up to ten images and/or one video

To submit images electronically, please email kathleenm@museumofnwart.org with subject line: art review. Please send images in jpeg form at no larger than 150 resolution for ease in transmittal and review.

Images sent by mail can be in the form of slides or electronic (on a disc). Please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope if you would like your material returned.

It is essential that you become acquainted with the exhibitions that we mount at the Museum of Northwest Art. Please take a thorough look at our web site (www.museumofnwart.org), and visit the Museum in person. It is important that you evaluate your own work within the context of the Museum, its exhibition history, and programming, ahead of making a submission.
