The Museum of Northwest Art is proud to present a selection of works by noted Northwest sculptor Tony Angell in the second floor galleries. This exhibition is held in conjunction with the release of Angell’s latest book, Puget Sound Through an Artist’s Eye (University of Washington Press, published with People for Puget Sound, 2009), which features his drawings, sculptures, and the author’s observations of Puget Sound wildlife that inform his art. Angell maintains studios in Seattle and on Lopez Island, and retired in 2002 after thirty years as the Director of Environmental Education for the State of Washington.
