FAMILY ART DAYS

Join us for hands-on projects inspired by the exhibitions, one Saturday per month during the school year.  Activities are enjoyable for people of all ages and skill levels.  Registration is required.

Colorful Felted Flags and Coasters
with Susan Klemmer Lenarz
Saturday, April 21
Session I: 11am - 1pm or Session II: 2 - 4pm

Using dyed wool roving and pre-felted wool, participants will explore inlay hand felting techniques. Come prepared to get warm and wet, as we will use soapy water and elbow grease to create colorful felted flags and coasters!

Sumi Painting

Saturday, May 19
Session I: 11am - 1pm or Session II: 2 - 4pm

Janet Laurel will teach sumi (Asian brush painting), with a theme of spring flowers. Janet makes this ancient technique fun and joyful!
